Hello, I am Isabela
I work as a project manager. I am a parent. An expatriate residing in Lisbon, Portugal.
A few years back I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary assignment gradually became a new chapter of life overseas.
How It Started
Moving to Portugal wasn�t in the long-range plan. As with many expatriate relocations, it began as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far more significant.
The opening months were demanding � unfamiliar setups, routines, and expectations. Daily tasks seemed more convoluted than anticipated.
The Adjustment Period
There was cultural adjustment, doubt, and plenty of hands-on learning. Yet gradually, patterns emerged. We found spots that suited us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt steady.
Why I Built Muxver Xorrul Plonor
Much of what's online is either corporate relocation guidance or superficial travel material. What�s absent is a candid, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to bridge that gap with practical advice grounded in real-life experience in Portugal.
